A gloomy cloudy, mild rainy day – I am up at 6.30am. Felt so proud of myself when I manage to wake up early, make meals for the day and get out from the house, which I wanted to do so long but have been inclined to do so. Actually, I left my phone in the office. Phone is one part of my life now.
I am writing at a very peaceful environment- the ships are sailing, the small plane is taking off and the birds are flying atound so near that I can view their fur. In front of me, there is some cloudy shady views of high tower, bridges and wavy sea water- these are gifts from nature that often we forgot to experience.
I live in business world and it is always about getting the most cost efficient way to do things. It needs to be measurable but nature has never set a measure as in how we could experience them. It is for us and up to conserve what we have now. Many other places, I heard especially China have air pollution issues and it is unfortunate that temperature rise and haze covered the beautiful skies and people simply cannt wait to leave their home.
I remembered how my high school teachers raising a question of how we need to buy fresh air in the future? Fresh water in the future? It is all about reaching out to the future and not having our next generation live in miserable manner. They deserve what we have now.
The coordinate where summer and sun meet up together is called summer vacation. Extremely busy with travelling and outdoor activities last 2 weeks - Got sun burn for the first time :(. It hurts.
Certainly, a relaxing and fun moment apart from facing the same thing again and again. You always discover something new when you are travelling. This time, I chose tour. The difference between DIY and tours, you bet it is a huge different. The same place where I went with my friends two years ago- us as tour guide, we explore less area because we made a last minute arrangement and missed quite a couple of interesting spot. As she is in Taiwan, I went alone this time, discovered different spots that I think she would like and hope we can go again soon.
The next day, went to the bay at the lowest tidal space, just to feel what it is felt like walking deep into the bay. Walking around little crabs and sea stars, I am screaming because I am not a fan of them. Got a bunch of clams for dinner. It is like a clam buffet that night.
Keep enjoying the sun until it is gone. More beach, more sunset and more windy warm moments.
You think you are done with exam eh? Never!
No matter, where you are heading to- if you want to move ahead, there is always going to be challenges and it will only get more difficult. Imagine going from having a syllabus to study on towards an unguided exam; from having an examination time to random testing; that is what you get. Many do not believe me, thinking university is the end of examination period. You just haven't seen the real world.
Test after test is what grow us as human. I dislike the feeling of failing a test but it is the reality and I will keep on failing until I hit a passing grade. Life is like that; you need to hit that point that is always hardest to reach, to please others and more importantly pleasing yourself. In the end, you will need to ace it.
