This morning, I told myself to live on and it is the best decision I made.
I cannot be living under the hood of the past although I owe to the past, my skills and experience. I start to realize more and more about the power of experience, understanding the words of my mentors. The answers to how do they know how to ask me the right question that I didn't know how to answer.
They have been through what I have and I am glad that I was asked those questions. One question that I am about to face is perhaps when you achieve your goals, what is next?
Seriously, I didn't expect to see one of my goals coming true soon. I am expecting a 5 years period at the very least but it probably will be in 5 months. I am starting to think about what is next? We move towards a goal and when we reach it, what is next?
Ultimately, we will start to create one goals, one after another; and our greedy nature claims a harder and harder goals to be achieved. That is just human. It is a huge trap of continuously to work hard for your goals. To some, it worked perfectly. For me, I really need to figure out what is next.
Excited yet confused Felicia.

Saturday, January 18, 2014 - High fat brunch with two best friends. Fats are melted by our love and care for each other. The best guilt free-brunch for the month of January.
I simply love having brunch, especially with these two young ladies. Thank you for the effort to come out with me although both of you are occupied with some others things too. Sharing 1.5 hours with me although both of you were kind-of sleepy. Perhaps, we should have done it a little bit later in the evening. Maybe, desert next time.
I felt we are getting more adult. We knew how to act like what my parents did when the bill comes. It isn't a matter of who pay the small amount of bill, it is about having both of you by my side.

It wasn't yesterday until I realize that there are people that are seriously affected by their health conditions and to keep my knowledge about natural health products that may help is selfish.
I saw a child with eczema. At the beginning, I was suspecting it is an incident of eczema based on the red patches of irritated skins. But, her mom confirmed it. For a 2.5 years old child that suffer from eczema since birth, it is so sad and triggering. I am still trying to think about how to help.
Eczema is a condition where auto-immune systems are over-reactive, creating antibodies that attack its own body cells. I am suggesting to her- taking some omega-3 fatty acids and a particular strains of probiotics that I knew helpful for the situation. I do not usually recommend medication but this situation triggers me to.
I am glad that I did. Many people know about the common health supplements such as multivitamins and minerals, omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, vitamin C and whey proteins to promote health but less of them knew the health modulation effect that other natural ingredient possessed.
I am beginning to learn the importance to also share this information to those who need it as I studied some of these ingredient's function to human. And hopefully, be able to help more people around me. That's a little something that I can contribute to the society.

One of the very first thing I learned during preschool is fill in a blank. Of course, I am still filling in the blank. The only difference is it used to be a simple, one universal word that fits into the blank. Now, I have grown it to a more complex blank to fill in.
Filling in the blank can be as simple as filling in a QC form, an application form to as hard as filling in "free-time", life objectives or the missing elements in a food safety program. As we grew our skills, our responsibility grows. The blanks that we fill have more and more options. My life is spice up because of this blank, that everyone need to fill it. It could be a simple and straight-forward for some but certainly, complicated for myself.
“Action is the foundational key to all success.” –Pablo Picasso
This is a perfect quote to start 2014. Procastination and declining to take action, prolong time taken to be successful.
This new year, define what success means to you? What do you want to do if there isn't any limitation to your life? Most importantly, what makes you happy?
Then, work out an action plan. Don't rush through it, take some time to sip over and reflect what you want. This is important: no matter how other talk badly about your plan, it is important to note that it is your project and never give up easily. Other's word might be true but they serve as a reference. I don't know how many people will question my website existence but it wouldn't be out of business because of that. I believe I can reach out and it bring value to myself, as I reflect on my life.
Hard work doesn't always pay off in monetary form but it will, in spiritual ways. Have fun creating an action plan, while the month is still young. I have set my goals but my action plan is complete and ready till April 2014. Not bad for an action plan. Don't forget to also track your performance from month to month.
Things that really tick me off, again and again is dealing with people who cares less about what project we worked on. Working things out need at the very least, collaboration. I do not mind you are portraying the image that you are the boss but, please just be on top of the things of we are doing here.
You want to get a project done but the delay come from you. It tells me that you care less about the project and it will demoralize me. If you don't care as a principal, neither do the follower. I am just as busy as you do. I dislike a sudden deadlines, so please care about your project and stop delaying. I will appreciate it a lot.
My new year resolution is to learn and I know this is so general that I can achieve it by just gaining an additional skills. However, the goal is not one but dozens. I do not know the exact number yet because I like to do monthly resolution. I have my Jan resolution, editorial schedule and course schedule. It is over-loaded of course, to have so many thing packed just for the month.
I do not need to rush but my nature kept me ahead and do what is needed. I enjoy my busy and crazy life. 2014 start with challenges from work, sales and keeping up this website with editorial schedule.
Never stop learning but keeping it within boundary.
