Everyone likes to have nice food and excellent service with the environmental ambience for a great dining experience. Malaysia can be considered as a heaven when it comes to food. People here searched and are willing to travel for good food- food that taste food. Miles travelled doesn’t seems to be a problem. People from Kuala Lumpur goes all the way to Ipoh or even further up, Penang for food. Where footprint/sustainability matters, is this travelling for food even be considered?
How do we account for this-travelling miles for food? To be accounted as ecological footprint or foodprint? Is this something acceptable for our mother nature or should people stop travelling even if it means compromising the taste of their food, giving up their favourite food and eatery?
