A week after the sugary date, it is time to move ahead. We need to workout. Believe me, I am a procrastinator when it comes to workout. That's why you see my food calories are low. It is so that I don't have to burn as much calories to keep looking slim. That's my little secret.
I have been writing about food but doesn't stress the importance of physical activities that works really well with dietary intakes. No one will argue about physical activities as a healthy exercise compared to healthy food. We just have too many unhealthy food choices that we can pick up.
Many people thought that restriction of calories through low fat diet are the only thing they need to do to be healthy. After all, body size depends on calories intake and calories burned. What's being misunderstood is the role of physical activities. Physical activities helps to burn excess calories, de-stress, building muscle and compacting calcium into your bones.
Does physical activities mean working yourself really hard to lose weight? Not really. Any workout counts! That include walking and climbing up the stairs. Walking at least 30 minutes daily helps building a healthy body.
Many of us are working in the office or simply sitting around with a static position. If you are at the office, try taking a break away from your computer once an hour, walk around and do some stretches too. Youtube provide a number of stretches you could do right at your seat. If your colleague notice the new difference, ask them to join alone. Being healthy doesn't mean owning them yourselves. Share the healthy act with everyone.
I am trying it. How about you?
