hat are the choices for being a vegan? I mean a life without MEAT, SEAFOOD, EGG and DAIRY. Sounds like they can't eat most of the things already. Consider chewing on vegetables, fruits, nuts and legumes most of the time.
To make thing worse, being a vegan isn't just about the ethical issues but some of these vegan have food allergy. They might be allergic to gluten, dairy, egg, mustard, peanuts and treenuts.
Vegan lifestyle are seen as a way to be sustainable and to provide a holistic nutrition to the body using nature bounty treats from the soil. It is a way to get away from the controversy GMO foods. To eat organically and provide wholesome food to the body.
Lucky for this group of people, Vege Expo brought together speciality food companies to provide wholesome foods that are organic, GMO-free and allergen free foods alternative to meet their special needs for foods. Foods that make them feel good, taste goods and loaded with nutrients.
You can see the soy based tofu and alternatives, legumes and nuts chips, crunchy granola bars, cookies and much more in the Vege Expo. Personally, I enjoy going to these expo as it gave me foods plus introduction to the life of these group. I see the passion of a young boy knowing what he consume at the age that I don't even recognize foods. He knew what he is doing and convince many about what it is about.
We all have our food choices and choose wisely for what we choose today determine how we eat tomorrow.
