This Valentine, I still want the chocolate but please make it a dark chocolate. Chocolate is one of the top favorite and symbolic gifts for Valentine's Day and you can virtually imagine that this is the season where chocolate sales spike. Suddenly everyone focus on getting chocolate.
Chocolate originates from cocoa pod, just like soybean. The pod needs to be break to harvest the cocoa bean. The cocoa bean or better known as cocoa are then cleaned and roasted before the shell is being removed; leaving just the cocoa nips. The cocoa nips are then processed into different kinds of chocolate we know today. Dark chocolate is chocolate without the added sugars.
Why dark chocolate? It is symbolic Valentine's gifts and girls just love chocolate but not the calories. Dark chocolate has the cure for caloric concern girls like me. Dark chocolate is full of antioxidants, which helps make our face and skins shine by protecting us against oxidative agents. Dark chocolate is said to stop food cravings and bring satiety so that we don't overeat. Instead of providing us with excess calories, we get exactly the opposite: weight reduction.
Dark chocolate also improves mood and help us to de-stress so we are always feeling happy. Dark chocolate is also good for our heart; lower blood pressure and improve blood circulation in our body. Enough with the health benefit from the dark chocolate; we are actually sweetened by your initiatives.
So, are you convinced that dark chocolate is what I need for Valentine?
