This is called burger and it is a type of fast foods. Fast food is the type of food that can be prepared quickly for consumer who needs quick meal. It also reminds me of the calories. Our education and media communication systems perhaps have changed to better inform the consumer especially kids and parents. They are well exposed of the type of food called fast foods and calories.
Does continuous exposures sets social acceptance and shaped us to believe that fast foods are bad for our health? In another words, does having the knowledge changes how we eat and how people around us eat?
Health advocates believe that fast foods are particularly bad for you because what is made from? A fast and tasty meal come with the bonus- fats. These fats often referred as calories. Fast foods bring calories to you especially when it comes with sodas.
Yumm, Calories are what bring taste to the foods. Fast foods depends on three major factors- fat, sugars and salts. Fat helps to bring crunchiness while the sugar fills in the sweet receptors, the salt is the complementary taster.
Kids and parents adore fast foods like McDonald so much that the reward of doing well in school or well-behaved kids are often treated with fast foods. Is that a way to encourage kids to do well? To some parents, it is. It is once a while but keep their children satisfied without much trouble. Giving kids vegetables and fruits... well, not all kids take them. Have you heard about parent need to hide vegetables behind a minced meat or something? It is just so hard for kids to eat food that is deemed healthier than fast foods.
It has been a fact that parents too might be the loyal fan of fast foods and taking the easy way out, they made their kids one too. With such cheap and affordable fast foods, parents can keep their hand from cooking and still be able to enjoy the pleasure of food.
Even fast food chains realized the health effect that fast food brings and tried to have healthier options such as salad, lower calories sodas, lowering kcal of the food sold, adding in more vegetables etc. Did the society made fast foods as a socially acceptable food for lazy parents or did the society help limit the acceptance of fast foods?
