Food commercialization have expanded beyond physical food stores and the traditional online shopping where we choose and purchase the items that we like.
I am particularly attracted to the concept of a subscription cum randomization of food purchases that are available. I have seen this food subscription for tea and snack items, where on a monthly basis, random items are delivered to the subscriber. This is very attractive concept for both a customer and a company because 1) customer can opt to subscribe to the food company they like for as long as they want to 2) Customer receive new items and get to try different food item during the subscription period 3) It helps a food company to focus on sales of items that they want to push and allow for better inventory turnover 4) Allow a food company to promote new product and receive feedbacks for the product.
The surprise elements are excellent just as when you receive a gift during Christmas - the excitement of waiting for gifts. It is so flexible that you can think of giving yourself or your friend -a subscription gift. How receptive are you for this subscription and randomization ideas? I love it because it is like receiving a Christmas gift every month and for a foodie like myself, it is like feeding my palate with new foods :)
Merry Christmas :)
